New to Pomona, Associate Dean of Students for Academic Success and Assessment Hector Sambolin, Jr., oversees pre-major advising coordination, the Sage Fellows academic support program, academic probation process, academic integrity, and support for academic and other student cohorts.
Using his extensive background in assessment and evaluation, Sambolin is determined to identify best practices to ensure students have the support they need. He sat down with Libbie Wilcox ’16 for lunch to share the story of his own journey to Pomona and his goals for his first year at Pomona.
