Congratulations! Your student has almost completed their undergraduate degree, and commencement is right around the corner. Come Sunday, May 15, it will be time to celebrate and rejoice.
In order to make this day as memorable and stress-free as possible, the Senior Class and the Smith Campus Center would like to introduce the 22nd Annual Senior Salute. This event will be held on Thursday, March 3, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Edmunds Ballroom, and will allow your student to make most of the necessary arrangements for graduation ceremonies at one time.
Information and services essential to ensuring a successful Class Day and Commencement Weekend will be provided at this event, including reviewing the Class Day schedule, and ordering caps and gowns, college rings and graduation announcements. A number of offices, such as Student Affairs, the Alumni Office, the Career Development Office and others will have representatives available to assist students in preparing for the big day.
We highly recommend that you encourage your student to attend, as this will be the best opportunity to make the necessary arrangements for graduation. Once again, congratulations to you and your family as this special day approaches.
