The Career Development Office Is Ready

Greetings from the Career Development Office (CDO) and welcome to the 2015-16 school year!

To the families of our first-year students: we look forward to meeting each and every new student at the CDO Sponsor Group luncheons, which give students a quick overview of the services, events and programs offered by our office.

For our sophomore and junior families: we want to continue to assist your students with making choices that shed light on his/her skills, interests and passions.

Finally, for our senior families: the CDO offers our support in helping to prepare your student for their post-graduation launch.

Here are some programs to note:

The Summer Experience Funding (SEF) Program, which provides financial support for students completing unpaid or low-paid domestic or international experiences for 6-8 weeks, to build upon their academic pursuits with experiential learning and career development opportunities.
The Pomona College Internship Program (PCIP) provides students with part-time experiential learning opportunities in the greater Los Angeles and Inland Empire areas. Students gain valuable pre-professional experience and explore career paths through structured training, connections to internship sites, and financial assistance.
